Naujas impulsas ekodizainui ir žiedinei ekonomikai
Lietuvos dizainerių sąjunga, pasinaudojusi Šiaurės Ministrų Tarybos skirta daline finansine parama, baigė tarptautinio projekto EcoDesign Circle (https://www.ecodesigncircle.eu/) paruošiamąjį etapą. Šio projekto ir ŠMT paramos dėka Sąjunga sustiprino savo gebėjimus ekodizaino ir žiedinės ekonomikos srityje, taip pat sustiprino bendradarbiavimą su Šiaurės Europos ir kitomis Baltijos jūros regiono šalimis.
Lietuvos dizainerių sąjunga yra pasiruošusi kartu su savo partneriais iš Švedijos, Suomijos, Estijos, Vokietijos ir Lenkijos įgyvendinti EcoDesign Circle projekto renginius ir veiklas 2017 ir 2018 metais, kas reikšmingai prisidės diegiant ekodizaino ir žiedinės ekonomikos principus regione.
Vykdydami EcoDesign Circle projektą, Lietuvos dizainerių sąjungos atstovai 2016 m. dalyvavo Berlyno, Stokholmo ir Talino darbo grupių susitikimuose, kuriuose nubrėžė gaires sėkmingam veiklų įgyvendinimui.
Ypač reikšminga tai, kad 2016 m. pabaigoje Lietuvos dizainerių sąjunga tapo BEDA (Europos Dizaino Asociacijų Biuro – http://www.beda.org/) nare. Šiuo metu BEDA prezidentas yra tuo pačiu ir Sąjungos šiaurietiškojo partnerio – Švedijos pramoninio dizaino fondo (SVID) – vadovas p. Robin Edman.
Sąjungos 2016 m. pasiekimai buvo reikšmingai nulemti ir Šiaurės Ministrų Tarybos paramos. Šiam penkių valstybių vyriausybinio bendradarbiavimo forumui Lietuvoje atstovauja ŠMT biuras Lietuvoje (http://www.norden.lt/).
ŠMT bendradarbiavimo su Lietuva, Latvija ir Estija gairėse (2014) pažymėta, kad Šiaurės ministrų taryba siekia išplėsti šį bendradarbiavimą ir taip padėti sukurti stiprų Baltijos jūros regioną, taip pat sumažinti gerovės skirtumus tarp regiono šalių. Bendradarbiavimas grindžiamas bendromis žmogaus teisų, tolerancijos, lygybės ir gero valdymo vertybėmis. Šis bendradarbiavimas turėtų sustiprinti Šiaurės dimensiją (The Northern Dimension), ES Baltijos jūros regiono strategiją ir kitas svarbias programas Baltijos jūros regione.
Gairėse prie prioritetinių sričių be kita ko priskiriama aplinkosauga, ekonominės ir socialinės plėtros stiprinimas, taip pat bendrovių socialinės atsakomybės (BSA), demografijos, tarpparlamentinio bendradarbiavimo ir partnerystės su NVO stiprinimo sritys.
2017 m. Šiaurės ministrų tarybai pirmininkauja Norvegija. Savo pirmininkavimo programoje Norvegija pabrėžė perėjimo prie žaliosios ekonomikos svarbą, atsiliepiant į globalius klimato ir aplinkosaugos iššūkius, taip pat akcentavo socialinės integracijos ir įtraukties svarbą, taip pat išryškino Baltijos jūros regiono vaidmens svarbą sprendžiant „mažėjančio pasaulio“ gerovės iššūkius.
Tad ŠMT parama šioms tarpdisciplininėms sąveikoms ne tik puikiai padeda atsiskleisti dizaino integraciniam ir holistiniam pobūdžiui, bet ir suteikia naują impulsą ekodizainui ir žiedinei ekonomikai.
Boosting the Ecological Design and the Circular Economy
Lithuanian Designers’ Society, by availing itself of the partial financial support provided by the Nordic Council of Ministers, has finished the preparatory phase of the international EcoDesign Circle project (https://www.ecodesigncircle.eu/). As a result of the project and the support of NCM, the Society has increased its capacities in the fields of ecodesign and circular economy, as well as strengthened cooperation with Northern European and other Baltic Sea Region countries.
Lithuanian Designers’ Society is now ready to implement the events and activities of the EcoDesign Circle project in 2017 and 2018, together with the partners from Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Germany and Poland. Those activities will significantly contribute to the wider application of ecodesign and circular economy principles in the region.
During the course of the EcoDesign Circle project in 2016, representatives of Lithuanian Designers’ Society participated in Berlin, Stockholm and Tallinn workshops, which set the guidelines for the successful implementation of the project activities.
Of great importance is the fact that at the end of 2016 Lithuanian Designers’ Society became a member of BEDA (Bureau of European Design Associations – http://www.beda.org/). Currently the president of BEDA is Mr. Robin Edman, who is also the CEO of the Nordic partner of the Lithuanian Designers’ Society – the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation (SVID).
The achievements of the Society in 2016 were to a large extent preconditioned, among others, by the support of the NCM. This forum of cooperation for the governments of five Nordic countries is represented in Lithuania by the Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania (http://www.norden.lt/).
In the Guidelines for the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Co-operation with Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania (2014) it is noted that the Nordic Council of Ministers seeks to consolidate and expand this cooperation in order to help create a strong Baltic Sea Region and reduce the welfare gap between the countries in the region. The cooperation is based on shared values concerning human rights, tolerance, equality and good governance. It should strengthen the Northern Dimension and the EU’s Baltic Sea Strategy and other overarching regional policy frameworks in the Baltic Sea Region.
The Guidelines define the priority areas, which among others include environmental matters, strengthening of economic and social development, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS), demography, inter-parliamentary collaboration and NGO partnerships.
In 2017 Norway holds the presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers. In Norway’s presidency programme the importance of transition to green economy, by addressing global climate and environmental issues, is stressed; also Norway emphasized the significance of social integration and inclusion, and pointed out the role of the Baltic Sea Region in solving the welfare issues of the world, which is “getting smaller”.
Thus the support of NCM for these interdisciplinary interactions not only perfectly reveals the integrational and holistic nature of design, but also boosts ecodesign and circular economy greatly.
