Lietuvos dizainas: šiaurietiška kryptis
Lietuvos dizainerių sąjunga ėmėsi aktyviai stiprinti bendradarbiavimą su Šiaurės Europos šalimis. Sąjungos vykdomas tarptautinis projektas EcoDesign Circle sulaukė Šiaurės Ministrų Tarybos (Nordic Council of Ministers) dėmesio ir paramos.
2016 m. Lietuvos dizainerių sąjunga kartu su savo partneriais iš Švedijos, Suomijos, Vokietijos, Lenkijos ir Estijos įsibėgėjo vykdydama tarptautinį EcoDesign Circle projektą, kuris skirtas ekodizaino ir žiedinės ekonomikos principams diegti Baltijos jūros regione, bei stiprinti šio regiono šalių dizaino centrus. Tačiau kartu šis projektas yra puiki galimybė stiprinti Lietuvos bendradarbiavimą su Šiaurės Šalimis, puoselėjant bendrą kultūrą ir bendrą požiūrį į regiono plėtrą ir į globalius iššūkius. Juk iš tikrųjų Lietuvą ir kitas Šiaurės Europos šalis vienija siekis puoselėti tokias bendras vertybes kaip rūpinimasis švaria ir saugia aplinka, pagarba žmogui ir žmogaus teisėms, socialinė atsakomybė, lygybė ir nediskriminavimas, socialinė įtrauktis. Čia atsiskleidžia ne tik ekologinis, bet ir socialinis, humanistinis dizaino matmuo.
Šiaurės Ministrų Taryba palankiai įvertino Lietuvos dizainerių sąjungos vaidmenį vykdant regioninę plėtrą ir skyrė dalinę finansinę paramą, siekdama, kad EcoDesign Circle projekto nauda būtų kuo didesnė.
Šiaurės Ministrų Taryba (www.norden.org/) yra vyriausybinio bendradarbiavimo forumas, jungiantis penkias valstybes – Daniją, Islandiją, Norvegiją, Suomiją ir Švediją, taip pat autonomijos statusą turinčias Grenlandiją, Farerų ir Alandų salas.
Šiaurės ministrų tarybos biuras Lietuvoje (http://www.norden.lt/) įsteigtas 1991 m., siekiant atstovauti Šiaurės ministrų tarybai ir plėtoti Šiaurės šalių ir Lietuvos bendradarbiavimą. ŠMT Biuras Lietuvoje ne tik tarpininkauja bendradarbiavimui tarp Lietuvos ir Šiaurės šalių, bet ir administruoja Šiaurės ministrų tarybos mainų ir rėmimo programas ir projektus Lietuvoje
Lithuanian Design: Nordic Direction
Lithuanian Designers’ Society has initiated active cooperation with Northern European countries. The EcoDesign Circle Project, which is being implemented by the Society, has attracted the attention and support of Nordic Council of Ministers.
In 2016 Lithuanian Designers’ Society has accelerated the pace of the international EcoDesign project, which is being implemented together with partners from Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Poland and Germany. The Project is aiming at introducing principles of eco-design and circular economy in the Baltic Sea Region, as well as capacity building of design centres of the countries of this region. However, this project is also a perfect possibility to strengthen Lithuanian cooperation with Nordic Countries, by fostering common culture and common views on the development of the region and global challenges too. It is true that Lithuania and other Northern European countries are united by their commitment to cherish such common values as caring for clean and healthy environment, respect for human beings and human rights, social responsibility, equality and non-discrimination, social inclusion. Thus not only the ecological, but also social and humanistic dimensions of design are manifested.
Nordic Council of Ministers positively evaluated the role of Lithuanian Designers’ Society in the regional development and provided a partial financial support, to make sure the positive effects of the EcoDesign Circle project are maximized.
The Nordic Council of Ministers (www.norden.org/) is the forum of cooperation for the governments of five Nordic countries – Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, including the autonomous areas of the Faeroe Islands, Greenland and the Åland Islands.
The Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania (www.norden.lt/) was established in 1991 to represent the Nordic Council of Ministers in Lithuania, and to develop Nordic-Lithuanian cooperation. The Lithuanian Office not only acts as an intermediate for the cooperation between Lithuania and Northern European countries, but also administers several Nordic Council of Ministers exchange and support programmes and other projects in Lithuania.
